Like spices, tea is better when fresh. For the best flavor, keep your tea in a dark, cool, and dry place. An airtight container will lengthen its shelf life.
Before adding milk or cream, check to see if your tea contains citrus or high acidity; the acid will raise the ph of the milk, causing it to curdle! Yuck!

Step 1: Check Your Water
Don’t use boring, old tap water for your tea - you’ll end up with all the flavor of the tap; minerals, salt, chlorine, fluoride - Yuck! Try using spring or filtered water instead! The results will be more predictable, and it’ll taste a lot more like tea, and a little less like licking the inside of a water pipe. Remember, clean water equals clean tea!Step 2: Measure Your tea
Loose-leaf or bagged, the recipe is the same: one teaspoon of dried tea for every eight ounces, (1 cup) of water. For stronger tea, use more tea leaves.Never brew it longer, unless you like bitter tea!
Step 3: Steeping time
